...Creating Cohesive Communities...

About 3 Way Split

3 Way Split is a creative cultural exchange program instigated in Southend by Anna Heim and Commissioner Suzanne Mulvehill in Lake Worth, Florida.

The basic idea being that during the coming 3 to 5 years commencing in January 2010, the three coastal communities of:

Southend on Sea, Essex UK.
Lake Worth, Florida. USA
Sopot, Poland. Europe

Will undertake to support and deliver a range of creative, cultural, heritage, sporting and enterprise exchanges which are designed to create opportunities which we believe will empower our communities through sharing in our commonality and common interest as well as our differences in cultural approach to solving some of our pressing local social and economic need...

So what do we have in common?

All three are Pier Towns with unique yet similar coastal heritage.
Southend-on-Sea being the proud home of the longest
pleasure pier in the world.
Lake Worth - Record Breaking Fishing Pier
Sopot - Longest wooden pier in Europe

All three towns also have:

A well established arts community
A growing creative industries enterprise hub, which is
developed or developing within the community.
A need to find new ways to work with new partners to
address the social and economic challenges we face as
a global community, while building on our strengths.

How will we do this?

By delivering a range of mission led exchanges between and across all three communities.

Working with our project partners and supporters to instigate, broker, facilitate and /or commission a range of collaborative community art works, which will result in the production of:
Public Art
Publications for retail
Film Content for Broadcast
Festival and Events, etc...
for all three communities.

To facilitate mission led exchanges for:
Elected Officials
Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs
Educational & Academic Establishments
Sports Organisations
Environmental Groups
